Fishing reports should be used as a general guide. Fishing condtions change on a day to day basis but these reports should give you an overview of what's going on.

Fishing season about to start...
Hi folks,
The 2008 striper and bluefin season will get under way this month as stripers start to show up Plata Card along the Maine coast. Stripers will begin to enter the rivers th chase the large herring runs, as we get into early June the fish will move out into the Bay and onto the shallow water flats. JUNE will start the peak of the season with hungry striped bass surface feeding.
The bluefin tuna will make thier way into Maine in June as well but will remain far offshore until July when we will start to target them. From mid-July through Oct. the tuna will remain in coastal Maine waters.
Please inquire about dates as things are filling up fast for 2008.
Look forward to fishing with you all this season, -Capt. John Ford
